I'm working on some shots now. Still with this 70-210mm lens but getting out of auto and working with settings.

Post some more in a bit.

These pictures were taking in the afternoon.

I tried no flash on shutter of 1/60 and a bunch other. I also changed ISO to a bunch of different setting buts the pictures came out too grainy.

I really want to try the SB 600 wireless flash and put that pointing down into the tank. Should be like have a lot of overhead tank like.

                    Thanks for the input anyhow.

What was your aperture & ISO when shooting 1/60th? What kind of light you got on there now?

I can't really remember as I was drinking then and now too actually. )

Lights over the tank or CF with around 400W on the 6' and 200w on the 4'.

I'll try again without flash and take some notes at each setting.

I'm still a noob and not pro like you so I got a long way to go.

Me a pro? Hardly! Just a fanatic. Taking a ton of pics is the only way to do it. Plus you said you had than macro lens coming too right? I think you'll get some better results with that, but just stock you should still be cleaning up with that camera. Just take a bunch of pics!

As for the light, you have the same amount Quoc had on his six footer right? The best pics I ever took was with Jesper's macro on my body shooting Quoc's tank. <-----Sounds bad huh?

I was going to get the 60mm/2.8. But my brother is giving me a 50mm/1.8. Which I don't think is a marco lens like the 60mm. But it's a prime lens so the picture will be a lot sharper.
