Yeah, Other than moop/kalambos...moorii's seem to be a little lean on the spawning numbers.

My maswas seem to push about 15 every time. My Ikolas were in the low 20's.

My rainbows now seem to go at about 5-12...averaging about 8.

Stripping towards the early end of the spectrum seems to help get the numbers up.

If you wait untill like 21 days, your going to only be getting 3-4 per female. (in my experience)

I now strip at about a week.

Yeah, I can't see how some of these fish can keep that many fry in their mouth. The one I got 7 wigglers from was not the biggest of the four I stripped today. I think I'll start stripping at 2 weeks next and then 1 week if needed

The pair on the left were doing it just for show, the other pair were the real deal and that female would be the 4th one holding as of today. Probably gonna strip all four this weekend.

Thanks guys. Three females just gave me 28 fry and one or two more holding. Gonna give them a couple of weeks before stripping.
