Thanks for the kind comments guys.
Well it seems I have a female that is not eating at all and just stays up in top swimming at one spot. I've taken her out and placed her in a QT tank with metro and epsom salt when doing a wc. Hopefully shes gets healthy again, all the others are very active and eating machines. *fingers crossed* that she gets better.

Which anti-parasitic? Is Prazipro the one to get? Thanks Sunny I'll do just that, Also I take it that I need to remove the carbon and purigen in my filters?Originally posted by SunnyHouTX View PostNorm, please use an anti-parasitic as well. If I were you, I'd treat the whole tank.

Thanks man, I'll try to take more pics after next week.Originally posted by crazy42bmx View PostWhen ya get a chance post some more pics these may just have to become a colony i get one day. Awesome fish man
The 1 female fish in the qt tank is still not eating but does move around some not like before. Its probably still to early since I only treated the tank on Sunday night. As for the main tank I treated with Prazipro as well. I do notice that all seem to be more active now and usually I see most of them swimming on top. They also seem to be much more hungrier. I'll be doing another wc and treating with Prazipro at the end of the week so will see in how it goes next week.Originally posted by New_Cichlid11 View PostNorm any update on the condition of the fish?
I'm wondering if I should just leave the 1 fish in the qt tank until she eats. She kinda looks depress in there by herself. She's not bloated just looks thinner than the rest. If she still doesn't eat, maybe I need to add her back in the tank after the 2nd week of treatment. Any other suggestions?

I would do the following:
Remove all rocks from the main tank
Turn off lights in the main tank
Put the fish in the QT tank back into your main tank
Treat everybody with Metro for at least a week and Prazi for a total of three consecutive weeks, can be treated concurrently
Feed brine shrimp or mysis once a day in the morning to get everybody eating (you can soak these in Metro/water mix for about 30 - 45 minutes before feeding)
Feed spirulina flake once a day to see who's eating and who's notLast edited by SunnyHouTX; 12-27-2012, 11:01 AM.
