Yeah John, they came in good condition but a couple of them have anchor worms. Once all are free of parasites, they're gonna eat better

Are the anchor worms obvious in appearance or is it more with their behavior that confirms?

It's praziquantel for me man, got the powder so it's more economical to treat the whole tank

It's obvious. Looks like the letter "Y" sticking out of the fish

I tried just prazi and it didn't do as well for the anchor worms.

diflubenzuron in the parasite guard is what did the trick.

I'm also thinking of nuking the tank with copper sulfate.

Prazi worked in the past but my recent situation with it was really stubborn with treatments so I had to step up the meds.
I tried the microbe stuff and after two bottles of it there was no difference.

After three treatments with the parasite guard not only was it all gone but the wounds looked completely different from that of when treated with microbe. The appetite of the whole tank was ungodly as well!

Dimilin seems to be the only sure fire way to treat not only the anchor worms but also their eggs/babies but seeing as though that stuff isn't cheap anymore diflubenzuron is the best next thing.

If you got a good place to order prazi powder cheap/bulk, shoot me a link.

Gonna need some in the future for my new livestock and the monster tank.
