11-4-11 080.jpg11-4-11 086.jpg Couldn't get the extra male I have in a 55 to be photogenic today. He was kinda spooky to the flash. Still have all 12 and growing out in a 20 for now. About an inch an a half or so I'm guessing.

They need to be in a certain 450 gallon tank for maximum growth

Think she's holding again. Came home last night and she wasn't eating, kinda head down hanging back with mouth clamped. Up to now, she's been eating like a normal petro pig since the last spawn. Her chin seems a little pooched out but not much. Of course, last time I didn't think she had room in there for much and she spit 13 fry close to an inch. I didn't even realize she was holding then until until week before she spit. Watching a little closer now.

I wonder how much a fry would sell for? $75?

Somebody has offered me close to half that. I already know I can't keep this many, but I'm still growing out the ones I have for right now. One thing is for sure, if this current spawn goes to term, all thise fry are going to need to grow up in somebody elses tank.
