I think there are 2 females holding as of yesterday. 1 may have jettisoned some of her eggs but hard to tell.

Tank looks great with rock in it. Hopefully those fems can hold out.

Tank looks great with those rocks and the light sand. What else is that you got in there with the Trews? Looks like it might be Orthos and some kinda Troph but I can't see well enough to tell for sure?

Thanks Steve. Yes, those two are Ortho Ikola and I also have 8 Famula Sangala in there that I've been growing out. The male that used to be alpha before the males from you got in the scene came back on top by taking out two of your males. Couldn't save them. In the process, I lost a few more to the upheaval in the colony. Things have stabilized some now.

Not one bit. Upside is, breeding seems to be kicking into gear.

                        • Yeah, that's what happened with my BGs. They had to sort out who was going to get laid and who wasn't. Unfortunatly, with petros, that process can have some finality to it.

Very much so. Sadly, one of the fish that died was a juvie female that dropped her vent but was not ready to breed. From the bruises, looks like it only took one or two swift hits...
