That happened to me once but later found out that it was not true fresh gulf shrimp and had preservatives in it that altered the taste. I cooked some for myself and found it didn't taste the same. Got some fresh from Kemah and my fish ate that with no problems

I did figure out why so cheap said previously frozen on the label so it wasnt fresh

There are frozen ones with just added salt, no other preservatives. That kind is also good.

Well these guys didnt want it neither did the petros imma grind it up and make some shrimp cubes in the near future and see if theyll eat that

Stop with the garlic, I've seen that stuff deter fish from eating.

Something they have to acquire I guess. Either that or the amounts being used is too much.

they all hit it when it went in and spit it out ill try again without the garlic.... chunks of shrimp were small and i started slow with just a little so i didnt have to fish a bunch out if they didnt eat it

shrimp at kemah is usually from 5-8 dollars a lb

Just picked up 10 lbs for $50.51 in Kemah, head off shell on, around 20 - 25 per lb.

hey just curious at what point can you feed shrimp to trophs or can you even feed the shrimp. its more curiosity than actual plan too.
