            Please look over the link.

            http://trophs.com/forums/index.php?s...11&#entry30511

On the link you will find that people are saying there are only two murago. One being the green murago and the other being zongwe. Furthermore, the zongwe is being called (AKA) yellow murago. In other words, the yellow murago is the zongwe.

The conclusion on here is totally different. Here we are saying the yellow murago and the zongwe are not the same but rather two totally different variants.

Requesting help from all experts to resolve the issue.

            thanks

Zongwe never have spots on the head.

Murago all have spots on the head.

Yellow Murago, Green Murago only difference is the sunspot, amount of blue color, and amount of yellow in the body. Typically the Green Murago is the better looking because it has more color in it overall.

              Yellow Murago

The problem is - who has seen a green murago? There are 2 pictures - Tyrone's and Ad Konings.

Geoff, you used to have some Zongwe's didn't you? They looked nothing like the yellow muragos from what I remember.

Long story but here's a pic of the colony of yellow muragos I had before they collapsed.

Funny, but that was the only colony I did not take a picture of last weekend. I didnt feel like cleaning the algae off the glass.

Personally, I think we should stop using "yellow" and/or "green" when we talk about this fish. Either call it Murago, Zongwe, Lusingu, or whatever is more appropriate to call it.

Zongwe does not have spots. I know this for 100 billion percent.

                              Yellow and Green Murago does.

Agree Zongwe do not have spots.

And there is no such thing as yellow and/green murago. It is an advertising gimmick.
