As much as I love this particular species of Petrochromis, I have to agree with you Derek.

          I have already tricked her.

She is going to do her residency next year and I have agreed to it which might force me to relocate and transfer within my job which I do not want since our location is the top of the region and I believe 2nd rank countrywide. I say this cause I work on flat rate or in a sense... commission so work available is work done which is hours made.

I have been contacting tank comps about a 10ft tank... she has agreed to one already but I have been configuring 2 of them... one for a nice Troph/Petro tank and one for a reef tank.

Please call KLM and ask them what is needed for shipping fish.

I will talk more to Peter and to the Customs guy.

                    • Went to Alex's store on Sunday and found out some really interesting stuff, that I never knew before.

His group is 8 fish. 3 Males, and 5 Females. He has a wild male next to the Trewavasae in the front of the store, for a total of 9 fish.

He is going to move the 240 gallon to the front of the store and try to work with them much more closely to get them to breed and see what happens.

This is a good thing to know that Alex will be working on this now, more seriously.

                        • I know everyone talks about FOOTPRINT for tropheus and petro tanks, but I think a tall tank helps out a lot with aggression and territory, as well. Each male, or in this case the single dominant male, holds his territory where the others are driven upward to reside in the empty part of the tank. A taller tank will give these fish more space and less stress... maybe. Just a thought.... My 215g is 30" tall and I can see how the females and subordinate males benefit. The 240 Alex has is only 24", right? Plus his Bulus are much bigger than my Famulas.

                          • Most definately a plus to a taller tank

                            • Those Bulus are probably 100x more aggressive then any Famula I have seen.

                              • The more incentive to go for a taller tank for these devils. Alex must have some connections...
