I am running a Mag12 on my Proclear 175 on a 110x-Tall... man I love the stupid fast flow !!!! It make things move in my tank.... now if my ABN would just finish cleaning up the tank (they where added a little late to the tank and algae got to mine.. but they are slowly clearing the tank of the green stuff... :)

Yeah... I have 216w of light on my 4ft tank... and well its all over the tank from top to bottom..
If I ever decide to convert the tank into a tropheus tank in the future -- I would definitively crank up the lights again.. man its producing a ton of the stuff, and I make sure that food dont make the bottom almost.. all of my occies have to go up into the water coloum to fight for food among the Leleupi, Julies and Cyps...

Man.... I have been meaning to ask... why just a Mag12?
With a drilled tank and dual overflows I'm think at least a Mag18.
Yeah.....remember when I asked you how much flow the RR can take. I was going to get the mag 18. But I asked the dude that I got the tank from and said the overflows are rated at 600gph each.....that's why I got the mag 12.
Seeing how it is now, I could have gotten the mag 18 but I would have to split the return line for sure.
Jesper, right now on my 125 I have 4x96w and 3x55w = 549w
Jesper, I seen the upgraded lighting just like two weeks ago. It's that nice green, and it's all over the place!
I got the 72'' 4x94w, need to get some new lights for it. But I hope I get some good algae growth like that.
I actually to use to not like the look because I thought it made the tank look dirty. But the trophs/petros love it so much I had to go for it. I also read that their jaw muscles needs to be worked so they can maintain the proper head shape. However, don't know if there is any truth to this cause all my trophs look fine and I don't have algae in my 75g.
