Anyone that sells a rock should be shot.

Bring it on.  It is work collecting good looking rocks just like collecting, selling, and breeding tropheus is.  There are plenty of people that are willing to fork out a lot of money for the rock also.  Now if you are referring to the rocks that are collected for free on this particular trip then i understand.

I screwed up.

Deer Season opened November 3rd in 2007....

Deer Season opens November 1st in 2008...

So we are going to have to call this one.

What possibilites exist for October 25th? or December 13th?

Geoff...  Oct 25 is the GHAC auction, therefore I cannot attend the rock dig on that weekend.
If you choose December 13th then I am still good to go.
Is Deer Season closed on Dec 13th ?

Else I am thinking this is going to end up being in the early new year (ie 2009)
Are you going to be able to run on Oct 25 because of your plant ?
How does Oct 26 ?  (or do you not want to run this on a Sunday ?)

They started the Turnaround right now because the plant shutdown for Ike.

So...I'm wiped out really until after Mid October.

Yeah I know.
I will have to make sure that we get the 4 wheeler up there.
Second I am hoping that if all goes well, Reba can talk Steve into bringing a few of the ones he said he can use.
That is if they are available.   Last Rock dig people where not tired because we where able to use that machine.  With a few more available we might do even better this time :)

Most likely it will have to happen after Deer Season.

Burnet County Deer Season :
General Season: November 1, 2008-January 4, 2009. Special Late General Season: January 5-18, 2009 (antlerless and spike buck deer only). Bag limit: 5 deer, no more than 2 bucks, all seasons combined.

I can check with my family if they plan to hunt the late season or not..but..

Looks like nothing from November 1st thru January 18th.

Early next year sounds good... lets just make sure that there is enough heat in the air we can be out there in 60-70 degree weather.. best weather to dig in I am sure :)

Too many snakes at that time coming out of hybernation.

It  would be best in February I think.
