The mpimbwe are brichardi, but Konnings has classified them himself, but not yet made official, for them to be their own species.

As of right now there are three sp.mpimbwe types and all three types are at the same location.

There is msalaba red cheek, Korongwe Yellow cheek, and a green cheek but I forget the name without my book with me.

I will post the green check guy's name later. "Kabwe"

Cape Mpimbwe (location) has several reefs where these fish are collected (Korongwe, Msalaba, and Kabwe). The only difference in them is the cheek color. The green guys have no cheek color, they are kinda greenish/yellow looking guys.

They are not so rare, but the problem is getting enough of each color.

why are they really aggressive towards each other?

The mpimbwe are just mean fish. They get bigger than other Tropheus and are a lot more territorial. The colony itself is always in a state of agression. I am always having agression issues in this tank.
