    Re: Got my fish home!!!

VERY NICE!!  They are so beautiful!  Got any close-up shots?

I'll try and get some more pics either tonight or tomorrow.  The Nkonde are pretty much eating out of our hands at this point.  :-)  Well, maybe 'attacking' our hands in anticipation of food, but whatever....

Just a personal opinion, really think about the red option.  I would much rather go for some ilangi than another species red.

                  Re: Got my fish home!!!

Some of them are almost all yellow, except for the head and tail. Is that odd?

They do have unusual eyes, the biggest males eyes are huge.

I know Geoff, but i have an empty 82gallon and if i dont put something in it the bacteria will die off....

Why is that? Do they not look as good as they do in pictures in real life? Or is it a behavioral difference?

It is all a matter of personal opinion.  I had my sp red for 3 or 4 years, and really enjoyed them, but I started enjoying other varieties more.  There are so many other choices that can liven up a tank.  I finally got to see some ilangi and WOW - I am impressed.  I've seen those Mpimbwe Red Cheeck and Ujiji - and another WOW factor especially on the Mpimbwe.

Again, this is a matter of opinion, but make sure you think about it since there are so many other options.

Please understand that in the Tropheus Club Section, Steve has posted pictures of fry he has gotten from me.

                              Re: Got my fish home!!!

I'll try to get some pictures posted here in the near future. I am really very excited about the Kachese and the nkonde's, they both are doing very well. I would like to give cudo's or props and even some old fashioned compliments to Imagirlgeek and algarciajr, for their willingness to give up some of their fish to make the three way transaction a happy one for all of us.
                              Thank You Traci and Alfonso...
