Yes sir but thats to dechlorinate. Ammonia removal is 1teaspoon per 40gal to remove 4ppm ammonia. What do ya'll think? Am I adding to much? Actually my ammonia is on average 2ppm because of the carbon snake/bottle combo. Maybe I should 1/2 dose.

I did not relieze there were so many posts behind your last post miguel. I thought if you were over dosing on safe that the fish would gasp from the lack of oxygen. I want to run a couple of your carbon blocks in a series in front of the bottle to help with this ammonia removal. I would have started a thread on the new bottle but when I saw it only removed 1/2 of the ammonia but I was disapointed. Ceser is giving me SLIM JIM back so we will see?

John--why are you having water problems??? I have clients all in your area and the water is fine. I even have a troph tank near you and I havent seen any problems yet. All I do is basic water change with a carbon bottle...no chemicals added at all. Are you having problems in your tank/filter or is it your water lines???

Jenny, My rocks are mica shiste which could contain fools gold or pyrite. Pyrite can lower your PH? I have been checking my PH and it's holding stable.
