It's not major or anything. Most are still eating. I just have a bad feel in my gut. After keeping trophs/petros for 4 years I follow my gut feeling.Originally posted by newb View Postkeep this updated...if you need to remove the green macros I understand and will give them a nice home
I do the metro treatment and see how it goes. Transports always cause a lot of stress on fish. I'm stay on top of it and keep you guys updated.
I'm going to do treatment with metro only for now. If it does not get better I plan on going to the clout.

Master, bring the trews over if you don't feel like dosing them too.Originally posted by myjohnson View PostBad news guys....
Fishes act a little funny.
I see some beginning signs of bloat. Treatment was started today.
80% WC, with full treatment of metro.

I thought they would have bred by just being in your posession. :)

Not that I have seen. I just seen some shacking when the little fish is about to get jacked up so they start shacking cause they scared.Originally posted by tbui1178 View PostThai, any dancing yet??
I don't expect them to breed this soon. They still need to be conditioned. They are in decent condition for WC fish but still below average for breeding.
Also, the macro greens have not set-up an order in their group yet. I figured, the group has to have a set-order and the females have to be in condition for any long term successful breeding to take place.
My guess is it may take a few more months.

Thai,
I am sure that you will have lots of babies from those macros..... I have a pair but they are only 3.5 inches and they are in with Famula... So I have a ways to go
to seeing any little ones. I say this again , your group looks so well conditioned....
Your are right your Green Macros look more like my Polyodons then the Red Dorsal Rainbow Macros.
