  • questions about my tanks

    i got
110g 5 ft with two eheim 2217, two aquaclear HOB 110 and Koralia #4 is currently housing my 35 chimba fry-around 2.5in.
90g 4ft with one eheim 2217, one 2215 and one aqauclear 110 and koralia #4 will be housing 35 reef fry
question is do i have to add an air pump for oxygen ? i like wet dry and will make one later. tha tanks are clean and my fish are all healthy.

You do not need an air pump oxygen as long as the surface is being thoroughly stirred up. And with hob's and koralia i would say you have that covered.

+1. A bubble matter does not add oxygen to the water. It's the water movement you want and it seems like you got plenty of it.

Do post pictures if you can Tony.

na you defiantly dont need an air pump, you have great filtration...but is a k4 a little much flow for the fry?

          Thanks for comments, everyone
yeh, i let the surface water open and cover the lights with canopies. will post pics tonight when i get home, classes on Friday are so boring and sleepy.
Mark, my fry love the flow of the kolaria, they try to swim against the flow to get through food when i feed them.

i dont think a k4 is to much, i ran 1x fx5 and 2x k4's on my 75g with 22 golden kazumba fry that were all under an inch and they loved it!
