Fo sho. But you know......they are studies in the wild. Those writers are looking at how the fishes live in their natural ecosystem. But we keep fishes in a tiny tank. This has to affect them.

There are a lot more articles, but I just have them on hard copy.

              Thanks geoff.

I might have to move out some of the petros in this tank....

To much interference in a tank that's already to small.

                Update:

                1) took out petro longola
                2) took out petro trew
                3) added tunze nano stream

Fishes are schooling tighter but no males have really claimed the left or right rock piles. Guess they just need time I guess.

With the added tunze water circulation is now at 37x.

I'll post pictures when I have time.

lol, no sir. I live and die with these....with one exception.

There is actually a mutation form of these fishes which are more colorful then the ones in the pictures. If I somehow got lucky and could build up a colony of all mutates I might sell the adults to make room.

                          no no....this is another tank.

                          This is my 4 footer.

The two vortechs are on my 6 footer lufubu/polli tank.

I have the tunze 6025. I like it cause it's small and when moded moves a lot of water dude.

Once the votech tree starts producing again, I might get a vortech for this tank too. But the tree is so done this season.

no one knows what the exact flow rate is when moded, most people on the reef forums are saying as low as 900gph and as high was 1200gph.

All I know is it's a lot more than 600gph. The flow is also very wide and it's nothing like a maxijet shamming fishes against the glass.

I been think about putting the tunze on a timer with my lights to see if it makes the fishes act any different.

Like I stated above, after I put the pump in the schooling is tighter than before. I also notice them grazing more too.
