pm replied to.
I might be going back over to xtreme to pick up one of those male Longola. put the longola with the dubs and keep ole biggin' by his lonesome! With him being by himself...I feel like he is a pet more than fish!
seems like the petro addiction is about to start....
most people that keep trophs move to petros or keep both....
Personally, I have always thought petros are cooler but I don't have a good size tank to house a nice colony. So I just keep singletons with my tropheus colonies.
To play with the big petros.....8 footer minimum and 10 footer preferred
Russ, Alison gave me the option to cancel my order due to the problems she faced with the order. I believe she has some males still if you want to PM her, newb. I hope yours turned out alright.
there is quite a few petros you can keep in 6 foot tanks...trews,tri-colors-and believe it or not texas bulu.they get pretty big and i've had no aggression in 6 months or so of having them.i've had two spawns and one surviving fry that is now close to an inch.oh and i forgot you should be able to keep famula in a 6 footer to.
yeah, for sure famula and trews work. Tri-color is hit or miss I think. But that's surprises me to hear that the texas bulu don't need more room! They are on my top 5 list of petros. Got to love any sp. texas face mask.
