New to Houston

I am new here, and was wondering if there are any collecting trips or meetings coming up that I should be aware of? I heard about some excursions to the Xiph. Research Center. Is that an annual thing? I am currently keeping X. helleri Rio Atapo, x alverezi, Girardinus falcatus, P. velifera.
