Had a great time...saw some friends, and made a few new ones...ate a good steak...got some GREAT peacocks from IGB...their fish were the best! They had nice color at the auction...even better now that they are in the tank

Hey guys and gals! The auction was great, came away with goodies for each of my tanks, plus the children's tank at church! Moscoe green guppies, Mexican dancer guppies, LF Black skirts, 2 bags o' ABNs, coconut shells, holey rock, a varitable treasure! I saw fish I had never thought of keeping before, but no more room for tanks! My friend Polly (high-Ph) forgot her fish food, it didn't get bagged, oh well. We both went thinking we would keep each other out of trouble, didn't work! Thanks for the fun, there has to be somewhere here I can set up another tank!!

I must admit that the coconut caves served my convicts well, and I'm sure your fish will enjoy them. I only parted with them because I got some nice ceramic ones on the CAK pleco cave group order.

This was my first time since it was held of 59 close to Sharpstown. I had a blasted!

I'll check around and see if any fish food was left behind...it might have wound up in someone else's bag. Thanks to all of the auction workers....too many to be named, but you know who you are. Thanks to everyone for coming and for bringing stuff as well. I'll start into the paperwork tonight. It's hard for me to have a feel for how many items there were because that was the first time we used the round tables and it kind of threw me off. Hope everyone enjoyed!

I don't know how I lucked out, but I managed to get one of the packages of algae wafers. Nick must have been visiting or otherwise distracted .

We had a great crowd, even with the rain. Great friends, great food (and drinks ), great buys on fish stuff, what more can you ask for?

A special thanks to those who helped out with the auction, it's always appreciated.

I know I didn't get a chance to say hi to everyone yesterday, so if I missed you this time, I'll catch you at the next one.

Got on a couple of times to look at HFB.. but within a few minutes then my eyes and head would kill me and I would go lay back down on the couch. I am so thankful I cleaned the bottom part of the house yesterday, because I am so happy its somewhat clean here right now.

Now its 1:40am and I am thinking about going to bed. Played a little COD4 from midnight until now. I am happy

Congrats PP.... and to everyone else who came away with nice fish and setups..
My Headache broke sometime in the last 2 hours (its midnight now) and I am able to breathe again.. had my sinuses completely stuffed all day and evening. My eyes are itching to hell and back.. Wondering what is causing that now.

SO what did everyone get to get and was there anything interesting this time around ? I sat at home with a migrane headache and wished it would go away. Right now I am able to breathe again (my migranes comes from a bad sinus problem, plus headache)

Anyone that left without a few plants, just didn't want same.
I've never seen so many aquariums for sale.
a half dozen HOB filters, 1 wet/dry
Lots of different colors of guppies, Halfblack, red deltas, 3/4 blacks, full blacks, snakeskin, red albinos, mexican hat dance and some just mixed.
Lots of Angelfish and lots of little sydonis.... sp?
a few swords & platies
1 female betta & a few nice paradice (no gourami)
almost enough plecos for everyone. (almost)
and lots and lots of africans
a few barbs, a few danios, but hardly any tetras

I sold a pair of Red Devils and all my jewel chiclids
and bought all the Jack Dempsiesesses
The big blue paradice I got is already flirthing with my albino female.
Guess I better give them a private tank tomorrow.
