Personally, I wouldn't mix them either. If they breed, you'll end up with Julidochromis maleregani. There isn't much of a market for that. Different people like different things though. If you want to do it, more power to you.
Now to answer your question: Enough to satisy whomever wants some.
Just because there is not much of a market for Julidochromis maleregani, does not mean I would not want any :!:
Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
Yes, I saw them today, as well as your pic on a binder Raul! I had a pleasant experience there today. Don was very helpful and showed me to the goodieds as I needed to restock due to the recent crash I had. Talked to Chris also. I told the spiky haired kid that rang me out to tell management I had a pleasant experience and will be returning.
My wife has some water lilies, umbrella palms, dwaft papyrus, thalia and I'm not sure what else. Not sure if she will get to make the auction, but she can always send something down with me, if I can get a Fish Buddy to come with me. I would like to move some of my Altolamps and syno. petricolas before cold weather really sets in.
What about livebearers? I have some Tequila Goodeids and some black guppies that should be large enough to sell by then. My fish house is a hodge-podge right now.
pond plants plus ? will be a treat. there are a few of us w/ tanks and ponds. the more variety, the better.

Your new club was discussed at the Saturday FOTAS meeting. We are looking forward to meeting y'all at the auction. It being on a Saturday is a good thing for us since we have such a long drive.
Hope wife can attend, but she may have to work. I will tell her to get busy sorting plants and working on her boss to hopefully get off that weekend. Don't know if we can manage long-distance "fish stuff" 2 weekends in a row (catfish convention in MD the weekend before), but we are going to try.
Catfish Convention? Sounds like CAK might/should plan a road trip. That is a long way though.
FOTASPREZ, Everything you listed does well in Houston in my opinion. We would be happy if you could join us but I undstand if you can't. We would love to meet you and your wife.
