GHAC August Meeting 8/21

I will be hosting the meeting this month. There are a couple things on the agenda to discuss including future GHAC officers and events for the rest of the year.

Location: 1709 Brun St.
Houston TX 77019

Time: 6:30PM - ???

I do have two grills that we can make use of. Hot dogs and buns will be provided, but feel free to bring your own meat/sides/drinks.

There will also be a small raffle at the meeting.

Someone (Nick) mentioned at the last meeting that it would be fun to do karaoke. That is a possibility for those interested later on in the evening. I don't have a karaoke machine though, so someone would have to bring one with them.

I don't think beer (prefer wine), BBQ (not a big meat eater), and karaoke (there's no way!) will be enough to convince them. LOL!

What do you need for karaoke (I've never done it)? I could bring a guitar amp, microphone, and mic stand. I've got a mixer too but its been a couple years since I last used it so I'm not sure what condition its in.

Tim - I goofed. That is the night the Houston Dynamo is in town and I promised about 12 elementary school kids that I would take them. I will mist it (again).
