the najas grass should grow in alll conditions, i have never had it need much light at all. it does well wherever i put it.

That's kinda up to you, dude. The sag and tiger lotus will both do fine with 2 wpg. I haven't kept najas in a while so not sure but if memory serves it needs upwards of 2 1/2 wpg. Just make sure your co2 sat. is up in the higher range, 22-28 ppm. I have sag in lower light tanks and it does fine, just grows slower and shorter. The tank that sag you bought came from was almost 5 wpg of light, 25 ppm co2 and heavy doses od PMDD fert.

Type of light is debatable. I used PC and NO lamps, all 6700K in the discus tank. T5 or metal halide will both work too, up to 10,000K.

It was great to see everyone again. Sorry I boogied out early. I'd stayed up all night before bagging plants and cleaning out the discus tank. I'm glad I left when I did because I started gettin' that real sleepy feelin' on the way home. I hit the couch for about a 4 hour nap when I walked in the door. It was good to see my plants go to good homes.

LOL me, my wife ,sis in law and her husband all had a great time yesterday. We all got to meet new people and man we ended up with a lot of nice fish. Overall I give it a 10 outta 10 heheh ( except for the time during the bid on the lights where one of the bidders made a big deal about the lights kinda made things awkard ) Anyways had a blast and will be at the next one cept this time we wont buy as many fish. 35 out

I got conned........

Well I got home and I was so tired I didn't even unpack all my prizes.
After spending the night in the car, my 3 bags full of flowerhorn / blood parrot hybrid juvies only had 2 losses, 1 little one and 1 big one.

I unpacked them and added them to my Jack Dempsey juvies and took a look at them for the first time..... I can't tell them appart.

I got the Jack Dempseysat HAS - $2 for 3
and I got the FH/BPs - $ 0.50 for 6

Then I added the 4 bags of red devil hybred juvies (only lost one).
They look different. Stripes instead of spots. Anyone know what the red devil crossed with ?

Wonder how fast they will out grow that 40 gal tank ?
Anyone know where I can get a 175 bowfront resealed rapido ?
Maybe I should buy one of those 10' dia 30" deep swimming pools ?

So now the paper that they signed it worth less than you bought it for. I had fun at the auction. For the first time ever I made more money then I bought. Alright. Good job David and Tim as auctioneers and it was funny seeing your face David at the check out. I told you it would happen. It was nice seeing the old faces and meeting the new ones. Some of you I didnt even get to see there as I was at the check out table well I guess some might have passed through check out and didnt know the face with SN.

Got to stay until the end of the auction and go to the concert in due time. I even got a chance to speak to and get the lead singer's autograph! It was a great day!

I know.. I think its because I never got to see it up close until after the auction before I realized how nice it was. And at $20.00 that was a STEAL!
