Did you eat the can once you killed it?
Also, what sort of range do you expect to get with this new weapon of bunny destruction? Wouldn't it just be easier to step on the rabbit?

So I went to FG with the GC i won since it was burning a hole in my pocket. I wanted to pick up some Cardinals but of course when I want them they were out and when I didnt they had three tanks full. But I fell in love with a Apisto. Viejita "Rio Meta" pair. The male is really colorful very bright red on the cheecks. I will have to snap some pics when they come out of hiding. They were a bit over priced but the GC made it better.

I look forward to the pics. I've got a GC that is burning in my wallet that a co-worker gave me as a Christmas gift. I'm waiting for the right item that jumps out at me.Raul

They also had a nice MacMasteri but it was in a tank with a dead cory that didnt just die. So I didnt want to risk it not for that price.

no the can was consumed before fired apon, as for range, the can was at 12-15 feet, with a little practice im lookin for maybe another 10 to 15 feet. thats all. as far as cost goes, the blowgun and some ammo for it is much much cheaper then buying a gun, also since i own a .22lr i dont need to buy one, but for reasons of my own i want to try hunting with the blowgun. Look at it this way, its just another challenge. hunting small game with a .22 isnt hard. Its just another toy to have, and a lot more rewarding to use, (it being something i made, with Darts im designing and reenginearing). then picking up a box of ammo and just shooting at animals that are well out of their sensory range to me. easier to go that route, but less rewarding and less of a challenge.

but if im going after something bigger like a hog, it would be downright stupid not to have a high powered rifle, or full Bow to hunt as they are quite large and dangerous.Never fear I is here

.22LR @ 100yds.... tell me that isn't more fun then missing at 12yds with a blowgun?
Also you can get a .22LR pretty cheap at the pawn or used, I mean I paid $139 for mine brand new and the special edition.700g Mini-Monster tank

ok going on that post, i hit the can several times, the cost of the blowgun is less then 15 dollars and ammo is reusable (better for environment and the pocketbook), and no hitting at 100 yards is not as rewarding as any hit with the blowgun, unless your talking Zombie head shots. I have concluded that just because one way works you refuse to try another for whatever reason, and are therefor a hater lol. and im stickin to my guns on this one. going with the boondocks defense, you go with your rifle, and i will go with my blowgun, and its not about how many we bring home but how we enjoy doing it. i enjoy both methods, but am looking for lets say a primitive challenge right now (not historically accurate i know but works for me) you should check out spearhunting, there is a guy in Alabama that has killed hundreds of big game animals with a spear. Thats one crazy guy.Never fear I is here
