Traci be careful of what you wish for.. you know you could end up at end of the first weekend and have to sit in an empty store.. what you got for sale ? Its all gone..
It's going to be so fun! I'm going to take care of the store and the fish as if they were my own while Dan is off globetrotting. And with everyone who's offered to come down and help out, it's going to be a piece of cake.
Dan said he's making sure the store is stocked up with lots of cool fish so everyone should definitely come down and check them out....and buy stuff. )
While in singapore, definitely check out my buddies at Qianhu Corporation. The have the biggest asian arrowarna collection that i have ever seen! Have a tour of their shipping facility .. it's one of the best i have ever seen! http://203.116.88.76/ . For such a big establishent, i don't know why they dont have a better URL.
They are out on Sungei Tengah (out in the boonies) but you should be able to get there from downtown on $20 cab ride.
While you are out there in Sungei Tengah, there are a couple of fish farms scattered around that area, for discus, i definitely recommend Rainbow Aquarium http://www.rainbowaq.com.sg/. They are pretty much right round the corner of Qianhu at the Sungei Tengah area. Their website does not do justice to their facility.

From my experiece discus coming from thailand are not as good as the ones coming from malaysia. Most are hormoned and shape not as good.
Plus there are more discus farms in malaysia than thailand and easier to import.
Ahh You know better than I do Dan. I had just run across this site and they also had some differant strains of beautiful discus with a clean facility. But now I know and knowing is half the battle. lol thanks again Dan.
