I am still so excited that I won the tank! I thought they were joking when they said my number was picked! It really is perfect, because I want to try a planted tank, but have been hesitating because having my first shot at it in the big tank was pretty intimidating. This one is going to be perfect! I already have it in place at my house, and already filled it with water... Lol, I think I'm worse than a little kid with a new toy! I really am going to have to have a "help day" and have all you guys over, so I can get my filters and tanks all set up correctly.

It really was great seeing everyone again, and I apologize for being so bad with names- I'll catch on eventually! I still can't get over how beautiful that store is kept, and Dan- I really enjoyed talking with you! Everone I talked to is such a wealth of information, it really motivates me to get all my stuff up and running!

Thanks again for hosting the event, and I hope it helps to support the site- I'm really glas I came across it! Thanks again for the tank, and best wishes to the birthday girl! :)

I had a really fun time! I'm glad I went. I had two plates of the wonderful food and a little cake. I did quite a bit of donating, though I didn't bring anything home. And I tried my best to not be so shy and talk to people.
I met Dan, the geeks, Frontosaurus Rex, Newb, Steve, Chong, Nick, Delock, and a couple others I can't remember their names. I did wish though that we had had some ruffage to go with all the meat. It was all really delicious, but my stomach isn't to happy. Maybe if we have another one of these I'll bring some veggie and fruit trays.

Hey, I don't remember who won the tank but you need to start a thread. Post pictures when you start setting it up! We all want to see!

Had a great time meeting a few new faces and seeing the same old faces. Thanks Dan, Newb, and Front for putting it on. Also a big thanks to Traci for keeping this crazy place running hope we made a little extra coin for you. I did have a bad incident when I got back home my wet/dry tubing popped off and the pump sprayed probably 30 gallons of water on the floor of my fish room spent all night cleaning that up.
