I have 3 Dats living together in a 240g with other large carnivorous fish. They do not fight with other fish, but occasionally run each other out of a cave they want.

These fish are to be found on the Southeast mainland of Asia and Western Borneo.

Diet:Carnivore
Additional Diet Information:Beware - these fish will eat smaller fish. They are amazing predators, hiding in caves and waiting for their opportunity to strike. They are fast hunters. In addition to live food, they eat bloodworms, earthworms, silversides, krill, and pretty much any chunk of meaty food I provide them.

There are no reported cases of these fish breeding in the aquarium, however in Indonesia they are being bred commercially. Their methods are not being revealed to the public as of yet.
