It works extremely well. I want to put it on my filters to keep baby shrimp and plants out of it. Cleaned up one of my 2213 and there was so much dead plant matter in there!Originally posted by suicune View Posthmm should I buy the SS mesh as a prefilter sponge? to keep dead plants matters out of my filter?

I highly recommend it specially if you have baby shrimp or fish, or using a canister filter it keeps almost everything large like decaying plant matter out of your filter... you do have to clean the screen like once every couple of weeks but I just rinse it out with dechlorinated water.

I'm not entirely sure what he has is good for ninja shrimp since most of the brands he carries caters to Neos and Bee shrimp. All of my shrimp attack barley like tossing out a steak in front of a lion. You can get food samples from him too! Food samples are sold by the gram. They're listed towards the end above the tweezers and scissors.Originally posted by Darbex View PostWhat food he has is good for ninja shrimp?

Probably several years. It's the good SS stuff. I'll put you down for 8 2x2 ss mesh Fissidens. Did you still want java moss and wisteria?Originally posted by wesleh View PostFissiden in a 2x2! I'll take like 8-10. What do you guys think about the ss mesh though? How long you think it will be good for before it starts corroding and leaks out toxins?
