I have 100 tanks in my basement and am breeding many types . Some of the best quality shrimp still elude me as they do almost everyone here in the US . I think its because shrimp breeders do not have the volume of stocks to work with . Also it is not near as popular here as in Asia to keep and Breed High end Shrimp . I have pictures of boxes filled with 2000 full black KK going to Japan and the tanks are full of 20,000 more ( and I do mean Tanks many ) There are not that many Full black KK in the whole US Likely and those boxes from just 1 breeder go every week . Another issue is quality . If you can choose what you are selling from 100,000 shrimp or 500 shrimp who will have better quality ? Can I raise them yes . Can I raise them and match quality in the amount that people want ? No . I think there are only a handfull of SSS being produced here and none I have seen were the high grade white . I know of no Pure line being produced . I think it will be a while before you can easily get 50 or 100 high grade shrimp here of similar quality to what China and Taiwan are producing . There are lots of off sorts and discolorations involved in producing the high end ones SSS KK WR even OEBT Tigers vary quite a bit so having large numbers to sort out from does make a difference . Eventually I should have that happening but it will take all my tanks to produce them and $100,000.00 worth of stock . I am way to poor to afford that for at least a while . I have some thing's here I am breeding that you seldom see on the market , but need to build stocks . I have most of my SSS going out Today as I do Sell online and here at my place . So pictures may not do you much good . The pricing on the other items is only good on preorders paid by the end of the week . The price will be a little higher once they are here . I have 7000 shrimp coming so a little bit of everything . They will all be acclimated and have full bellies before they go out .
