If I had raised it, I'd eat it, but since I didn't, I'd rather not. It was not mine and the previous owner had it growing in a tank that was filthy. The stench from the water was disgusting! Thanks for the input though.

Yes but it currently is occupied with fish that will be eaten by this thing

Put in the sun to get a tan , that happen to me when i start with fish and then no one want a big normal channel cat, mine got a good tanning :)
