free fish

alright peeps, My wife and I have decided to get rid of the cichlids. I'll give them away for free. All you have to do is come get them with your own way to transport them. I live in League city. Sorry, don't know the names of the fish.

Yea new fish. We wants Oscars so my thoughts are to buy 2 oscars for my 55 (let them grow a little bit and the i would have to get a 150g)and then make my 55g a community tank

Oscars will sometimes do okay if there's 2 of 'em (esp if they're raised together or if you have 1m:1f). But I've always seen them do best alone or in a group of 5-6+. If you're upgrading anyway, consider getting more! I absolutely loved my albino tiger oscar.

I was told to buy 3 and watch them and see which ones match up then give the 3rd one back. Also, i read you cant tell the sex until they are about 10". Everything is still up in the air on what were going to do but the first thing is to find these fish i have now a new home
