Maybe I can help sell the tank, I don't really need it, but if it is not sold by saturday when I come to return your personal items and pick up the light, I will buy the tank and stand. If no one buys it, leave the sand in there and I'll buy it too.

If someone is thinking about getting it, please do so, I don't really want/need it, but I do have over 60 inchs of free wall space in my den.

I'm also considering the IN TANK UV fiilter, so if you are thinking about that item too....don't wait too long.

Seriously, I have been thinking about setting up a tank just for small cats like petricola's and munifers. This would work for starters.

But again, if anyone has been considering this tank, jump on it now, it will be gone by Saturday, I guarantee it.

I'm guessing the silicone has been slowly degrading over the years, I've seen older tanks with pretty thin strips of silicone on the sides.

That's a piece of cake to reseal though...

Nothing really that stands out.  The silicon on the in side doesnt look bad it just doesnt look new.


If it was of huge concern, I wouldnt have it in my house. Just trying to be honest about the items I am selling.   With the age of the tank, basic resealing the inside wouldnt  and couldnt hurt. It may be fine for ten more years I dont know.

Well, it looks like I'll be picking it up tomorrow anyway, unless anyone else is interested, if you are, please contact txfatcat before noon tomorrow. It's no biggie to me, I'm supposed to be cutting back on how many tanks I have, and you would be helping me out if you did buy it, but I am sure I will have fun setting it up anyway.....

well    may use just one of them or put them in the 265g.   I was hoping to give them away in the package but nobody wanted a smoking deal  or this is just to close to xmas

let me think about it as I have two and already have 18x turnover in my 265g so may not need them.
