Since you are on Bellaire, you might want to check the store on Larkwood. They had six or seven types of apistos a couple weeks ago. If not, Rosenberg isn't too far to go for healthy fish...Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.

ya ive talked with mike and thats where i got the originally but they dont have the ones im looking for i have not been to the one in rosenburg i guess i get to finally check them out. the prob is you by them from a store your talking about droppin so serious cash i was hopin dan would get some in at HAW but he going for other SA thingsaltums 90 gallon

I think what he meant was this....
He has not been to your store Charles so he figures this is a reason to check you out. The problem with buying from a LFS he thinks is that when you buy Apistos from a LFS they are usually a bit higher priced then trying to source them from breeders/fellow hobbyist.

Fair enough...I just get tired of everyone thinking that Dan is the only hobbyist oriented store....I probably took it a little rougher than I should have. I just put up a whole new rack (9 tanks) just for dwarf CA & SA cichlids. The first ones should be in on Saturday.Charles Jones

thank EK u summed it up perfectly and im sorry for assuming i live in bellaire and the nearsest LFS is fish gallery so i am used to there prices and Fish ranch II when compared to dan well you understand i look forward to hopefully getting out therealtums 90 gallon
