Correction: the tank might actually be Oceanic. The  label isn't there, so I just assumed that it wasn't. The lids are Oceanic lids... so I dunno.

WOW.......Jeb102385 !!! If Arm was giving you the "hook up"... you just screwed it up.  :uhoh:  :hang:  Remember my friend, silence is golden. If Arm gave you a special price before he had posted the tank and it was discussed between you and him............ don't you think you should have PM'd him instead of putting out publicly.

Streetology 101:

1. If you are getting the hook up, ("hook up" means =  getting special pricing ; discounted price; special treatment; extra services; etc.) do not ask alot of questions.
2. Do not argue, piss off, whine, to the person giving the " hook up".
3. If you have a problem or if thing don't go as discussed, don't put the "hook up" on "blast" ("blast" meaning = don't make the deal public ; don't bring it to everyone's attention.
4. Keep everything between you and the person giving the "hook up". (The least who know = the least chance that things can go wrong).

I almost stopped him from making the call to you Tim..... that's all I am saying.

I wouldn't mind picking up the tank myself.... have to take a few measurements and stop off at LouisVuitton after work tomorrow to see if there is something good enough to "persuade" the significant other ... will let you know probably tomorrow night as I will probably accompany phan22201 to your place if that's ok with you.

If the edges of the trim is tapered down then its an Oceanic..
The overflows are Mega Flows which as far as I know are only available on Oceanic and AGA
The Trim looks tapered down which makes it an Oceanic.
The Label will be on the front bottom right corner.
Oceanic puts the label on like a gold leaf imprint and this causes the label to EASY rub off.

rrocket2002 - that is a good question. I just was told the amount that insurance would cover from the storm damage. I may not be able to get another tank.

That's sucks.  

My boss was telling me that the ins. is only willing to pay $1800 for damages to his house.  He has extensive roof and water damage.

His deductable is $1900.

What a rip.

Based on both Zulaab's comments and eklikewhoa's observations, the tank is -in fact- an Oceanic. It just doesnt have the label on the bottom RHS.

I appreciate it delock, but I know that you are way too busy to help me repair my house. That is a great gesture - even if you are a rude person!

I can make it happen. I anticipate having the fence back up by the end of the week. ... of course it will look like I did it!

Saw the tank last night and I'm almost positive its Oceanic.... the stand itelf also seems to be Oceanic.

Have not seen an AGA that nice and the stand too (other then mine but then again its an Oceanic custom mated with an AGA tank).


Definitely a good deal!
