If you have any left in a couple of weeks...you could bring them to the GHAC Auction.   :)

      Re: Cichlids for sale

      LOL true.

My only concern is that the last time I auctioned fish, they didn't bring much in... maybe 1/8 what I paid for them.  I know auctions are kind of the luck of the draw...

I may or may not have a tank or two for auction.  I know they are more about fundraising for the club than making money, but I want to sell this stuff to make room and a bit of money towards my next project.

I also have three red tops.  I think they are called hongi?  it is either two females and a male or two males and a female.

            7.00 each

              Re: Cichlids for sale

I forgot to say - I am also completely willing to trade for these.

However, I am moving away from malawi cichlids to other types of fish.

              I am interested in:

              Different types of rainbows -

              need more Praecox and Gertrude
              female threadfins wouldn't hurt

              Dwarf cichlids:
              apistos
              angel rams

              WHiteclouds:
especially the long finned red varient

              Sword tails -
I have pineapple swords and would like to diversify the breeding stock

              Mollies -
I have some lovely black lyretails and would like to diversify the stock there too

              Plants:

Could use some more plants - low lights for my 55, med to high light for my 75.
especially looking for vals, cardinal plant (I don;t know any other name for it), another plant that I only know part of the name of - porto vehlo?
              blyxia japonica, crypts, etc.

              Invertebrates:

I need more cherries and yellow shrimp (kept seperately of course)
              amano shrimp
              interesting wood shrimp
              dwarf crawfish
              Crystal shrimp
              other interesting shrimp
              nerite snails

If you have something that is not on the list that you think I would think was nifty and shiny and must have, pm me :)

Re: Cichlids for sale OR TRADE

No one has any use for cichlids?

If my prices are off, please let me know.

Also willing to trade for equipment if livestock isn't an option.  Also if you have livestock to trade other than what I have listed, pm me, and maybe I will be interested.

Re: Cichlids for sale OR TRADE

                    Sometimes pictures help:

                    Red Zebra

                    Pulpicans

                    Yellow Labs

                    Demasoni

I would take them all if I had room for them. Pulpicans are a grea fish.

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

and I've always got room for yellow labs! I'll buy all the small ones if nobody else wants them.

Re: Cichlids for sale OR TRADE

Steve - if you want to buy them from me the day of the auction, I will happily bring them for you that day.

Tim - my yellow labs are adorable, I think you will like them - they are so peppy.  If it weren't for my decision to go all planted, I would be keeping my cichlids.  The yellows are my favorite.

Thanks for posting the pictures - The tank has a bit of an issue with some algae that I am in the process of fixing with daily water changes.  It was hard to take pics, and I didn't think of posting them from elsewhere.
