FS: Telmatochromis sp. "Temporalis Shell"

Anyone interested in some Telmatochromis sp. "Temporalis Shell" ? looking to get $3 each
I can get probably around 50 fish, 1-3" in size.

Can you get pairs or are they not big enough ?
Can someone tell me what other Tanganyika fish they will live "peacefully" with -- ie not get eaten for lunch by ?

Mine are with Eretmodus, Cyprichromis, Julidochromis, and BN plecos. I haven't had any issues. Most of their aggression is directed toward conspecifics .

Z, Maximum size is 3" so if I can get the bigger ones. maybe they'll pair up.

okie..   btw my julies are right now living temporary with my occies...  no problem with them except they are all in a small tank and that is making it crowded.   This weekend they are going back in with the Leleupi's and Brichardi's because that tank right now looks so empty now that I need to put more fish in there...

if you read more info about them, these guys can defend themselves from the likes of brichardi, leleupi & julies.

The heavier bodied Telmats can not only hang with those fish they will most usually dominate them if they choose.  Just because they like shells does not make them like multis or occies.  Make no mistake these fish will kick EDIT at the drop of a hat.    

Telmat shell should also be provided with as much algae as you can grow.  About 13 years ago I had a colony that would all stop what they were doing to graze on algae at just about exactly 4:00 to 4:30 every day.  Even the first and second males would sometimes graze side by side.  It was cool.  

They were in a tank where the entire bottom was covered with apple snail shells.  I had a twin tube set up with I think a triton and an actinic tube.
