I don't have anything, but do have a question. Do you mean the actual brand-name "glo" T5 fixtures? Or any T5-HO fixture?

I remember hearing that the bulbs are specific for that brand.....meaning they don't work on other T5 fixtures and other T5 bulbs don't work in this fixture.

Isn't that the Helios T5-HO fixture you're talking about? Or are the Glo fixture the same way?

I can't believe that they would build a fixture with proprietary bulbs....that would be crap.

It's not proprietary just the specs are slightly off.
