no and yes i think they are like 2 of them put together and size well not sure mine are 24 i think thats the only size

Sounds like compact flourescent.  Check out hellolights.com  - I've ordered from them on a few occasions - they seem pretty reasonable and have anything you could possibly need for lighting.

square pins have two pins, straight pins have four

Both square & straight have 4 pins, but square looks like this ::, & straight like this....

I have 3 used 10k straight pin bulbs for 17 each if you want them.

What wattage do you need? By 24, did you mean watts or inches?

but was kinda in a hurry so just went and spent $100 for both
expensive but hey I love my plants and fish
More plants then fish cuz berly have like 6 fish
