Not meaning to hijack a wanted thread but since everyone else has here's my 2 cents.
Some people will do or say anything for a rise. If we don't respond, he doesn't get one. Eventually it won't be fun anymore. JMO.

I had typed up this same statement earlier and decided not to post it because the OP seems to have no intention of learning and is just trolling. For the reason Ally stated, I think this whole thread needs to be nuked. It is full of just about every bad and irresponsible idea you can have involving care of a RTC.Originally posted by allysangels View Postthe big deal is the "hot thread" comment, as if the member enjoys getting us stirred up or is doing so intentionally. the issue that i have with this is that people come here to look for information and they will read that it's ok to put a baby rtc in a 20g tank or that it's a good idea to "stock" your local watering holes so that you can go fishing later.135 gal Fahaka Puffer

I think there are specific requirements such as having appropriate fencing to keep it on your property and out of waterways if your yard does flood. I could be wrong on that though. A country club can't meet the requirements if its not even aware of what somebody dumped in their pond. You said it best with "never release any pet into the wild"Originally posted by jughead View Postif i had a pond in my backyard that was 10' x 20'x 3'deep and i had a redtail cat in it,am i legal?is a goldfish pond legal?a pond at a golf course is man made,so its not like i'm hurting a natural ecosystem by putting exotics in there.of course,if the golf course floods into nearby drainage,we have trouble.my backyard might be more likely to flood than the golf course.then where we at????dont know where they draw the line on this stuff.never release any pet into the wild135 gal Fahaka Puffer
