  • 90 gallon hexagon setup

up for grabs is a 92 gallon hexagon tank.  Included in the sale is the stand, glass top, eheim 2213, and coralife double bulb light.  Tank was purchased new in spring of 06.  The only issues with the setup are that the plastic hinge holding the 2 pieces of the glass top together cracked so they are not connected.  I will not seperate anything until the tank is sold.

I just took the tank down last night so it is ready for pickup.  Below is a picture that was taken last week.

Asking $325 for everything listed above.

well here is your chance.  the tank and stand alone would cost you $100 more than im asking from an LFS.  the light alone is probably over $100(dont remember what i paid).

definately, with absolutely no leaks at all.  The picture above was taken about 1 week ago.  The tank is in great condition.  Until yesterday it had not be moved since the day it was bought.

If someone is interested in just the tank and stand, I will do $250.

what is the height and width of the tank, and the combined height of tank and stand?

The tank is 34" across at its widest point, and is 30.5" tall.  I do not have a measure of the stand and tank together, but I would say its around 5ft(60").  If you need an exact measurement let em know and I will try to get it for you.

Can someone tell me why i have had no interest on this tank?  Is it the price, time of year, or does no one want a hex tank?  Just curious so I can fix it and get it moved.

I'll be brave and answer the question.   Please don't offense to what I have to say, I am just trying to answer your question.  First of all, I love hex tanks, that is why I look at this everytime it is bumped.  I'm not going to buy it because I am reducing the amount of tanks I have, unless you are almost giving it away.   Folks on this forum are looking for good deals and have a great understanding of what   things are worth and what they will spend.  This is a beautiful  tank and you most likely paid a lot of money for it, but you will not sell it for the amount you put into it or what you are asking.

Fair enough.  I know it is not a low price great deal, but I do feel its a fair price.  I may end up keeping it and turing it into a reef tank if I cant sell it for a reasonable price.  Thanks.
