Fish gallery has a nice selection of plants sometimes.

Also check out The Planted Tank forum, you can get packages of what you're looking for relatively cheap... especially if what you want isn't so common. You might even find a local Houston member.

I got my hc from fish gallery and they do have a nice selection only problem its about 30-45 min drive. Someone local would be good that way I dont have to pay for shipping

From observing the forum for some time now, I haven't noticed as much planted tank hobbyist in the rosharon area than the north side or sw side (closer to the B8 and the loop). The planted tank has some really good sales every now and then. Sure you pay shipping but that pays for itself since you'd have to spend about $5 of gas just to meet up with someone.

Yeah I have noticed that to in my short time here on the site I have had like 3 or 4 people offering clippings but they are all north Houston. It looks like I need to find someone else to order from and pay for shipping, if anyone knows or recommend someone that has good deals on plants pm me their info please. Hitchhikers on plants is not an issue since both aquariums are at war with mts and assassins

Try out the Swap n Shop on The Planted Tank forum. Most of the prices on there are reasonable and you could get it shipped right to your door.
