This was my Red Texas. I sold it for $250 to a guy out of state awhile back. If you like it then let me know.

If you really want to buy a SRT like the one you saw in the video, be ready to dish out some change. Aquabid would be a place to start looking. You're most likely going to have to import it from Asia(Most like Thailand) and the shipping/transhipping may make you not want to consider purchasing a RT. Keep in mind not all Red Texas are capable of becoming that blood red color. The colors range from yellow to red-orange to unfaded(Looking like regular H. Carpintis/Not losing Carpintis markings). I do know a US seller that sells quality RT. The specimen below is one I purchased from him. Unfaded btw. Purchased him when he was 1" for $7. However, I do not think his prices are that low anymore seeing as that his has gained much popularity. PM me if you're really interested.

could be, but im curious if there mixed with something. they may not be. I may have looked at the wrong posting. But even the texas cichlids I have never obtained the nuchal hump at 7-9". I know if seen it in wild fish from a ditch but those are Texas/Rio cichlid. The issue im having is, the statement of ready to fade or lose color. They shouldnt

If there the same ones on aqua bid, im sorry but those are not Red Texas cichlids. Those are plain texas cichlid hybrids. There is no red to them at all.
