I am sorry if my post offended anybody... I simply asked that if anybody had tanks that they are not using and wanted to get rid of then I would take them off of their hands. I am not looking for hand outs and have always been the type of person to help out people who needed it... I assumed since we are all in the fish keeping hobby that we could help others in the hobby as well. I am in this hobby because I enjoy it I am not looking to turn a buck and on other forums I am on I have done what is called ROAK ( or random acts of kindness) giving away several plants in my aquarium and what not. I guess I just enjoy helping others who love fish as much as I do.

I didn't see the deleted posts but I don't think you offended anyone. Well, you didn't offend me.

people are usually really friendly here and do often give away stuff.

I have no problem with people helping others. I have received things for free here too. I guess peopl e got carried away with the jokes. Big tanks don't usually go for cheap in Houston and some people do try and sell their "prized" 15 gallon tank for ridiculously high prices.

you have lucked out on your finds.

The closest I have come to that is a 125g tank only for 40 bucks.

Ashley, there's more history here than what you are aware of. I simply was making a suggestion because I don't often see too many 50 cent per gallon deals on here. One time I corrected barberking and he has been starting unnecessary hostility ever since.
