IN THE BEGINNING.....there was a plan for these tanks, but due to reasons beyond my control, plans change. I could share my visions with you, but then you might not see them as clearly as I do.... :)

Let's just say, I was getting ready for the next HAS auction...... :P

Well it's all just sunk cost as you put it earlier......fill them bad boys up.  I got a few fish that need some new homes...LOL.

Truly the 110 would be set up, if it where not for the need of a good strong stand, the previous owner's butchered the stand for the reef ready plumbing underneath. I was going to have the company next door build me a custom stand, but after making an agreement on the cost, they dragged their feet on the start of this project, and I went elsewhere with my money. I just didn't put it into another stand yet.

It really is a gorgeous tank though.

I am just not big on the whole sump set up issue.  I have heard too many horror stories with overflowing onto the floor.  In an apartment that's the very last thing you need to happen.

Dude, one tiny hole drilled in the return line will take care of that flooding thing for you. Place it right below the water line, when the water starts retreating back into the sump, as soon as the water line meets the hole, no more suction. End of Story.
