You'll get exactly what your ordering. Amphilophus labiatus and citrinellus are both often as Midas Cichlids. Labiatus has thick lips, comes in several colors white, brown, orange, yellow, and any combination. Citrinellus comes in yellow (the true Midas?), yellow with brown bars, white, orange, brown and any combination. Also doen't help that many will change color with age.Emerald Green Rainbowfish

I believe he has a 50 dollar minimum? Not too sure but last I checked he did have a minimum amount you had to meet to order from him. Shipping is also a PITA when dealing with Rapps. However, he is pretty reputable.Originally posted by aggrocichlidfan View PostJeff rapps (tangledupincichlids.com) best place ever
Are you mixing Amphilophus cintrinellus with the Barred midas? True Midas cichlids usually do not come in any brown when in their adult stage. Most Amphilophus are unidentifiable at a small size, since most of them are brownish and drab in appearance..Originally posted by black_knight View PostYou'll get exactly what your ordering.
