Free yellow lab fry

Im going to lock this thread now since all of the fry are gone.

man, those little guys school so freaking cool. i had never seen cichilds school like that. even my Female peacock was like who the hell are they. they are invading my house.

Yeah they definitely arent shy and when you go to feed them or come close to the tank they all swap the tank and like you said they do school together. Normally ACEIs are the Mbunas to do that.

No plans for any more fry. I took the 2 female yellow labs out of my 55g Mbuna tank months ago and put them in my 125g all male Peacock / Hap tank. So there wont be anymore fry. I loved to watch them grow but I dont have the tanks to keep up with them.

Well i ended up over populated but i am setting a bigger thank this weekend so its all good. If i see problems i will oass them along too.

Well seems that every one their bags confuse. I had asked for 6 smallest fry possible and when i got there your wife handed me the only bag on the steps and i didnt count them there, but when i got home and im counting i think the bag has about 10-14 lol all sizes too...

I think you were the last one to get the bag. I told my brother to put 6, he told me he put 7. If he put 10-14 I hope you have room for the extra. LOL

It was confusing because one member had asked for 10 large, then said 15 large later, so my wife gave him a bag of 10 large and your original bag of 6 small because my brother wasnt there to bag up another 5 to make 15. My brother had to come back and get another bag of 6 for you since my wife gave yours away. He didnt realized there was 7 until after he had them banded up.

Did I confuse you, because reading it back its confusing to me! :)

Youre very welcome Lydia. After Beto gets his 10, I was only left with 7 little ones...I hope thats enough. I originally had more than 60 but I guess some of the larger fry ate the smaller when I first put them together a few weeks back. :( I just got a PM from Beto and hes stopping by around 7pm.

Its ok that you took that bag. My brother couldnt come over quick enough to bag you an extra 5 so I just told her to give you the bag of the 6 little fry if you wanted them. And youre very welcome, take good care of them. :emt_thumbs:
