Generally speaking, neocaridina and caridina species won't interbreed. Cardinal shrimp may be a good choice depending on your water chemistry.

Depends on how freaky they get. They don't seem too keen on Barry Manilow. I suspect they're punk rock shrimp. I'm going to change my music and see what happens.:)
