It all depends on how much money you want to spend. Home Depot sells plastic whiskey barrels for like $50, but then you need a pump and something for the water to come out of.
You can also buy the thing already completed:
for like $150.
I wanted to get mine to be real and a little bit larger, so I got a real wine barrel from winebarrels.com, the pump from an LFS where I had a ton of store credit, the hand pump from Harbor Freight, and a liner from a local store. It cost signifigantly more, but I would have not done it any other way. I love it. -
