Good ideal, how much did they cost you?Originally posted by utsadude View PostI went to my local glass shop and had them cut me four piece of 1/4" tempered glass for my aquarium. They used a water jet to cut out an opening for the filter and two openings for the heater cords.
Works perfectly.150G Tropheus Moorii Ilangi

Yup Virginia's daughter owns a glass shop on FM 1488 called Glass Depot. Her name is Kristen. She has a glass that minerals can not stick to. It's tempered but it will stay clear with jut the wipe of a damp wrag. It's a high end glass made for showers but should be well worth it. I hate how minerals dull the glass blocking the light and that stuff can not be removed. Her # is 936-321-1001.
Her she is drag racing top alcohol last year. Can't wait for the races this year.

You'll need 3/16 glass for most of the hinges. I had one made recently and it turned out great. I used this hinge: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...YA31T82XNZBWZM
Glass Cages has a clear hinge I wanted, but the shipping was too high.

You can call Bobbit Glass Company 1020 W. Gray 713-523-7369. I had them cut some glassfor my 56 gallon but it was not the tampered glass. They have all types pf glass wish I had known about the tampered glass at the time that I purchased mine. Give them a call with the measurements and they will give you a price. You can get the hinges from Dr. Foster and Smith.!!!Live for today and not for tomorrow.!!!
