my dad said he wants some coral but not too much, mainly planning to have large fish in the tank. also, i was given an empty co2 tank that i don't know what to do with. is the calcium reactor necessary? i've read it's a good idea to have one for corals. also, what is the ATO and Iwaki used for?
Calcium reactor is good for larger tanks that will have corals especially SPS. ATO is Auto Top Off it help maintain a stable salinity by offsetting the water lost through evaporation. It monitors the water level and adds RO water when the level drops. Iwaki is just the pump to push water from the sump/refuge back to the tank.
